When I sat down to decide what to write on this page, I wanted to share the main thing I wanted my readers to take away from this. The idea that beauty comes from more than your skincare, or your makeup, or your favorite lipstick; beauty comes from within yourself. That until you truly love yourself, no amount of makeup you put on can change the way you see yourself.
This blog has been a work in progress for what seems like forever. Each time I share my experience with a beauty product on social media, I have people asking that I start a blog. And, I am finally doing it.
Beauty has always been something I am interested in. I can remember being obsessed with those tiny Avon lipstick samples my granny had littered around her bedroom. And, this was when I was still too young to understand how much power a good lipstick could hold. From the moment I was allowed to, I was wearing makeup. And, I made a lot of mistakes with it, too. From black eyeliner lining my ENTIRE eye to using just soap to wash my face, I’ve spent a long time figuring out what works and what doesn’t work for me. And, I want to share that with you.
This blog serves to help you avoid the same mistakes I made. To let you know which products are worth your money. Which ones aren’t. And, what are some great, affordable products you can use when on a budget. And, as a request from my wonderful Facebook friends, I’m going to include some body positivity and recipes along the way as well.
So, stick around. You might just find something you like.
